Every photograph by Mike Sleeper is complete at the moment it is made. Working exclusively with large format film, the image is captured without digital processing or alteration. Color, contrast, and composition are resolved in-camera, resulting in a photograph that remains faithful to the original scene and moment.
Film vs. Digital: Our Philosophy
Mike works primarily within a few miles of home, returning to familiar landscapes over time to refine his understanding of place and light. He also photographs while traveling, remaining open to unexpected moments when they present themselves.
